Nyali district
Nyali is a district found to the north of Mombasa and is a reasonably affluent area where hotels, villas, a golf complex and tourist related ventures could be found.
This site is dedicated to the people in and around Nyali and is a personal view. If you have any information, images or suggestions that will make a stay in Nyali that bit more special please let me know. I have stayed at Voyager twice and can highly recommend a visit there. The staff are wonderful as is the food we made many friends especial greetings to Margaret and Jaclyn at Voyager Beach Resort. To Mustafa, David and Isabella on the beach and to see Steve and Jac who we met at the hotel and have stayed in touch.
Use the navigation on the left to find out about Voyager, Safaris and the beach. More information will appear on places to visit like Haller Park. Check the photo galleries and make sure you send in your comments and photos
Voyager is an ideal location for your Wedding and you can make it even special by taking in a Safari and then visiting Turtle bay and see the school and happy house project in Watamu. Drop me a line if I can help more.
Places To Visit
Haller Park is a great place to visit and you can meet so many creatures there.
Lafarge also supports other quarry based projects in the area. There is the Butterfly Farm which is great to visit with woodland walks, beer drinking butterflies to meet and you can see the ways to encourage butterfly numbers to increase. You can hire bikes there and cycle around the many trails in the woodland. If you visit at dawn or at dusk, you have a fairly good chance of seeing bush babies.
There is also the crocodile farm that you can visit. This is a project which breeds and rears crocodiles. You see them at various stages of their life cycle. A little cute to start with but that is soon forgotten when you are faced with those huge snapping jaws
Mombassa is the nearest and most convenient airport just 30 min's from the resort. Getting flights to Kenya is easy and there are regular connections.
